Rock Climbing & Abseiling at Harborough Rocks: Dave Matthews – Aspire Adventure Activities
Another sunny day and another repeat customer. Alison and her family had been abseiling with Aspire before. Sadly, the last time, they came for an adventure day with us it was cold and wet, and but this time we were greeted by blue skies and glorious warm weather. The first words out of Alison’s mouth was ‘can you believe this weather? A good start, customers in a positive mindset.
Climbing and Abseiling At Harborough Rocks
This was their second trip to Harborough Rocks so we soon got straight into climbing with Ben and his sister Alison volunteering to go first. Their dad, Tom and mum Helen took the role of holding the ropes and then swapping roles. Here at Aspire Adventure Activities we always try to foster a team spirit within the groups. This day was a special occasion too withTom doing his first-ever rock climb!
The adventure day also involved abseiling we decided as some were a bit apprehensive to start on a short abseiling which everyone had 3 goes of then we moved onto the bigger abseil which Helen volunteered to go down first followed by all the family.
Abseiling Into The Cave
After a good days’ abseiling, we always like to finish off each activity with something special. We finished off the day abseiling into the cave at Harborough Rocks via a hole in its roof which Ben thought was great.
So once again satisfied customers. As well as doing some good climbs and plenty of abseiling, we all came away with a good suntan, everyone’s a winner.
